Steam pipes convey steam between outputs and inputs. There is no directionality on flow and all steam is instantly available anywhere along the connected line.

You can view available steam on the line by placing your cursor over steam lines.

Steam Pipes placement, unlike placing paths, is continuous. Once a segment is placed, you can continue in another direction, vertically or horizontally, until further placement is canceled.

Supports are required for Steam Pipes that rise above terrain that can support it.

Steam Pipes are smaller in size than Water Pipes but they cannot occupy the same space as other pipe. This can make upgrading your colony's infrastructure challenging if you did not leave space to run Steam Pipe.
