Track pieces are used to connect between your railway stations.
Track pieces for the same railway network must be placed on the same vertical plane. They can turn 90 degrees on a single tile but cannot create intersections or change elevation.
Careful planning is required when placing track pieces. When building across water, the log support columns may be more expensive than the iron bars and wooden planks required to build the track. Similarly, digging tunnels or terraforming pathways may take considerable time and resources.
