Steep stairs are a one tile option to move up one tile, but at very slow pace.
These stairs can be chained to form a staircase but it should be avoided due to the very slow transit speed. Where possible, use the other stair or elevator options to improve transit times in high traffic areas.
The Steep Stairs footprint continue to make this a useful path option in tricky to navigate areas like dense housing areas and mountain sides. There are no improved versions of the Steep Stairs that take up just a 1x1 space.
Like all paths, the stairs can be built instantly anywhere and are fully refunded on demolition.
