The Oil Press produces oil using piped steam and fish.

3 Oil is produced at the cost of 2 piped and 1 fish per batch. Neither input materials should pose any strain to a late game colony.

Oil is a catalyst for the Carpenter, and is used as an input for making soap at the Chemist and machine parts at the Machinist.

It can be sold to the Pirates to pay off their ransom demands counting as 21 coins each.

It uses iron pots as a catalyst which are produced at the Blacksmith using iron bars. Iron pots are also utilized as a catalyst in the Soup Kitchen.

The building itself is space efficient being just one tile wide, but 3 floors high. The steam input port is on the 2nd floor, opposite of the front door.

The Oil Press may be challenging to fully staff as it requires at least an apprentice Engineering Guild Whisker, but also an Engineer Guild Scholar for the optional 2nd slot. Scholars are rare on Whisker ships, so you may need to use the School to fill the positions of this building.
