An improved stair type, taking on the same speed as plank and makeshift paths. This building has a double the foot print and costs planks.

In practice, this stair type is harder to implement than it may appear. Uneven terrain may not present space to easily deploy these stairs without terrain adjustment or supports. The lower slope also demands twice as much runway to climb to the same elevation as Steep Stairs.

Similar issues may arise in building dense housing and workplace structures which is a frequent need to maximize the efficiency of heaters and walking distances.

When creatively and effectively used, these stairs can make a big difference in Whisker transit time as compared to Steep or Spiral Stairs. They are also a better option than short elevators or Whisker Launchers in heavy traffic areas where the elevation change is not great.

These should be replaced with their stone variant as soon as it becomes available. It further increases walking speed on the stairs and takes up the same footprint.
