We have retrieved a veritable treasure trove of extraterrestrial technology — a raft of inscrutable machines whose even basic function currently eludes us, metals whose very structure is wildly unfamiliar, and even screws and bolts with almost preposterous tensile strength. To call this a mother lode would be the understatement of the millennium. We have so much to learn from every last fragment of this haul — for it surely represents the technological apex of a species that has somehow found a way to travel from their far-distant world to ours.

Complete the Access Alien Ship milestone. Capture an Alien hab. Overthrow the Alien Nation. Successfully assault an Alien Facility. Successfully assault a UFO Landing. (10% chance) Conquer a non-capital region that belongs to the Alien Nation. Perform a Contact mission on an Alien Councilor. (Only for The Servants and The Protectorate.)
