Haumea is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, discovered in 2004. It is notable for having a very fast rotation(estimated at just 4 hours), which has led to it being unusually egg-shaped. In Terra Invicta, Haumea is a relatively large body, with 4 [[hab]] sites (plus one more on each of its moons, Namaka and Hi'iaka). Haumea can only be visited once the [[Mission to the Outer Planets]] tech has been researched.

Haumea is, along with [[Quaoar]] and [[Makemake]], one of the potential starting bases for the [[Alien]]s.
