Smelter is a building used to smelt metals and ores into liquid metals, using heat.
Overview
The Smelter turns Copper Ore into Liquid Copper and Gold into Liquid Gold, and it requires heat to operate.
Mechanics
Both conditions must be met at the same time for the Smelter to work:
- Metal or ore must touch the top of the Smelter.
- Hot Thermal Buffer or Lava must touch any other side of the Smelter.
When both are true, the pixels of metal or ore are converted into pixels of liquid metal.
