Pumps are required to draw liquids into Pipes to be transported.
Mechanics
Pumps can be place on top of any Pipe. It will then draw any liquid touching the Pump and feed it into that Pipe.
Every pixel of the Pump can take in liquid, so if fully submerged, it will deliver 16 pixels of liquid to the Pipe per tick.
Pumps can take in any liquid other than Lava, which is too hot to be transported.
Tips
Pumps are non-solid to all pixels meaning that any non-liquid material within them will stop liquids from being transported.
Every Pump connected to a contiguous network of Pipes will deliver its liquid to every Liquid Vent on that network.
Pumps will feed any liquid into Pipes, so the Pipe can carry multiple different liquids at once. These will be evenly distributed to all connected Liquid Vents.
