Overview
Snow is obtained when using the Cryoblaster or by digging Frostbed. When burned, it creates Steam.
Mechanics
When Snow comes into contact with Lava, the Lava changes into Scoria and the Snow is consumed.
Likewise, when it comes into contact with deep Water the water is replaced with Ice and the Snow is consumed.
In both cases, a single pixel of Snow will freeze multiple pixels of Water or Lava.
In both cases, if the Water or Lava is shallow (1 pixel deep), or has been dropped onto Snow, the Snow is consumed with no Ice or Scoria being produced.
Tips
This is one of the renewable sources of Water in the game, when produced with the Cryoblaster.
