Overview

Research is the method by which players can unlock new Buildings and Tools. This is done by spending Gold , Energy or Aura in the Research tab.

Research

Tier 1
Shaker
Unlocks the Shaker, which can separate Gold and Residue from Wet Sand.
Cost: 20 Gold
Logistics
Unlocks the Conveyor Belt and Launcher.
Cost: 30 Gold		 Hover
Unlocks Hover mode. Toggle with Space Bar to float in place and phase through structures.
Cost: 50 Gold		 Map
Unlocks the Map and Minimap.
Cost: 100 Gold		 Flare Gun
Unlocks the Flare Gun to light up dark areas.
Cost: 150 Gold
Filter
Unlocks the Filter, Which works like a Conveyor Belt but can allow certain elements to pass through.
Cost: 250 Gold		 Sprint Boost
Unlocks Sprint Boost to gain a temporary speed boost when holding Shift.
Cost: 200 Gold		 Wall Light
Unlocks the wall-mounted Wall Light.
Cost: Gold
Tier 2
Kinetic Press
Unlocks the Kinetic Press to further process Burnt Residue into more gold and Seed.
Cost: 500 Gold		 Flamethrower
Unlocks the Flamethrower to burn residue, melt ice and vaporize Water into Steam that rises and becomes rain.
Cost: 400 Gold
Burner Belt
Unlocks the Burner Belt that ignites flammable materials when fueled by heat through a Thermal Buffer.
Cost: 500 Gold 		Thermal Buffer
Unlocks the Thermal Buffer which can store and distribute heat for nearby machines.
Cost: 1000 Gold		 Sweeper Drones
Unlocks Sweeper Drones to Easily collect materials from the ground.
Cost: 800 Gold 		Flashlight
Unlocks the Flashlight to shine a light where you aim.
Cost: 600 Gold
Conveyor Portal
Unlocks the Conveyor Portals wich allows elements to cross production lines without mixing.
Cost: 750 Gold		 CryoBlaster
Unlocks the Cryoblaster which can produce infinite Snow that can freeze water, solidify Lava, or be steamed into rain.
Cost: 1000 Gold
Tier 3
Fluids
Unlocks the Pipe, Pump and liquid Vent.
Cost: 1250 Gold 		Planterbox
Unlocks the Planter Box to grow various crops.
Wet Seeds grows into a Flower, wich yields Gold and Amethelis when harvested
Cost: 2000 Gold 		Gun
Unlocks the Gun allowing for distance digging.
Cost: 1500 Gold
Pyro Dispenser
Unlocks the Pyro Dispenser shich fires flame bursts every 3 seconds when fueled by an adjacent Thermal Buffer.
Cost: 2000 Gold 		Clearing Frame
A frame that works like a slow Conveyor Belt but moves things inside.
Good for clearing elements off static surfaces or pushing floating objects (e.g. Wet Seeds in Water.
Cost: 1000 Gold 		Vacuum
Unlocks the Vacuum to collect materials in a tank.
Cost: 2000 Gold 		Activity Heatmap
Unlocks the Activity Heatmap on the map
Cost: 700 Gold
Aerokinetic Fan
Unlocks the Aerokinetic Fan which blows pedals and powders throught the air. Good for moving large piles of Amethelis.
