Water is a critical resource in Sandustry, used for wetting Sand and Seeds. Large volumes of Water are required for an efficient factory, so players must sufficiently plan to obtain sustainable sources.
Mechanics
Liquids like Water flow downhill, and will settle into any depression. When on a flat surface, individual pixels will skitter back and forth until they find somewhere to drop.
Water flow is blocked by most buildings that would also block a (non-hovering) Player. It can, therefore, be contained and directed with Blocks, Conveyor Belts and other factory infrastructure.
Standard Filters will allow water to pass. Advanced Filters can be set to block or pass water, as required.
Water combines with Snow to form Ice.
Water combines with Fire to form Steam.

- Rain resulting from Steam reaching the sky. This can create infinite water when using the Cryoblaster to make Snow and melting it into Steam.
- Lumlings.
Uses For Water
When a Sand pixel and Water pixel touch they are both replaced with Wet Sand (1 Sand + 1 Water -> 2 Wet Sand).
When a Seed pixel and Water pixel touch the Water gets absorbed and the Seed converts to a Wet Seed (1 Seed + 1 Water -> 1 Wet Seed).
Water is also consumed by Snowmakers.
Tips
