Sweeper Drones can gather material for you from a defined area.

__FORCETOC__

Mechanics
When the Sweeper Drones are selected, clicking and holding the mouse button will allow you to mark material you wish to be gathered. This material does not have to all be the same - if it's grabbable, it can be selected.

When the mouse button is released, you are prompted to set a drop-off zone. The material will be swept up and deposited there.

The drones will make multiple trips if there is to much material to be swept in one go.

If you are near the drop-off zone, you can reassign it to a new location while the drones are active.

There is no way to cancel the drones.
Upgrades
|-
|}

Tips
Sweeper Drones can only drop-off material into empty space - it is best to designate your drop-off to be on a conveyor belt, or above plenty of open space, so that repeated trips have space to deliver your material.

If the drop-off area is not clear, the drones will hover waiting for it to become available.

Material marked to be swept will be highlighted in green. Material due to be swept on the next pass will be highlighted in red.

When marking material to be swept, or designating the drop-off point, your movement is drastically reduced and sprint is not available.

By the time you've entered Tier 3, you will have amassed a considerable pile of Seeds. You've just unlocked your Planter Box and you've been challenged to "grow flowers".

The flowers in question are Amethelis Flowers, and they're formed of flower stalks (Vines), topped with a flower made up of a Gold center surrounded by Amethelis petals - another valuable source of Gold, and those Amethelis petals are going to be useful too. So, how do they grow?

Preparing Your Seeds
As any gardener knows, seeds need water to grow. So the first thing you need to do is to add water to your Seeds, which results (unsurprisingly) in Wet Seed.

You're familiar with this process from Sand, but things are quite as simple here - Wet Seed is lighter than Seed, so it will rise to the top of the pile. But worse than that, Wet Seed are exactly the same density as water, so you can't just drop Seed into a pool and let a conveyor pull them out at the other end.

As with every process, there are a thousand different approaches to this - Launchers throwing everything up and Filters to pick out the Wet Seed, dripping Water onto a pile of Seed, dropping Seed slowly into a pool of Water. It really is up to you.

Personally, I prefer the simple "pool of water" approach. Because Wet Seeds float rather chaotically, I use Clearing Frames to slowly push them over to the exit Launcher. It's not the fastest or most elegant solution, but it mostly keeps up with my Seed production, and it's easily duplicated if that becomes an issue.
<div style="clear: both;"></div>
Planting Your Seeds
Now you have your Wet Seeds, you need to sow them. The first thing to do will be to drop them onto Planter Boxes, where they will sprout and grow a length of Vine stalk, eventually forming an Amethelis Flower on top. At this point, the plant growth stops.

When a plant is growing, if it grows into another Wet Seed (if, for example, you've just thrown a big pile onto your planters), it will absorb that seed, growing another vine and eventually producing another flower. There's no limit to how many seeds a growing plant can absorb, so if a large amount of Wet Seed is dropped together, your plants can end up growing for a long time - and across a large area!

If you don't want to be chasing flowers all over the world, box your planters in - plants won't grow through any building (even Wall Lights!) so you can control how far they grow this way.

To keep things easier to manage, you probably want to develop a way to thinly scatter seeds across your Planter Boxes - just like real gardening!
<div style="clear: both;"></div>
Harvesting Your Flowers
Once your plants have flowered, it's time to harvest them. They are like any terrain in the game - you can dig them, shoot them, or blow them up. Because Vines are flammable, you can also burn them with Fire which is the best method; the fire will spread along the vines and jump from plant to plant, clearing the whole growing area in very little time.

The Vines don't drop anything. The flowers, however, are a Gold centre surrounded by Amethelis petals, and these will drop once the flowers are destroyed. The Planter Boxes will allow both of these materials to fall through them, so you will get a rain of Gold and Amethelis cascading from beneath the planters.

Amethelis is light and blows around in the wind; you can move it as normal with conveyors and launchers but its wispy nature makes that complicated.

Gold, of course, is the heaviest element in the game and is easy to catch.

Catch the Gold and send it to your Collectors.

And as for all that Amethelis... well, that's a whole new process!

__FORCETOC__
Mechanics
When connected to a Pipe network, each Liquid Vent will allow liquid to leave the network.

Liquid Vents can expel a maximum of 4 pixels of liquid per tick; therefore, one Pump can support up to 4 Liquid Vents when operating to capacity.

Liquid Vents will allow any liquid to pass through Pipes apart from Lava, which is too hot.

Tips
Vents will only allow liquid to escape if they are not already submerged. A Vent is considered submerged in this context once three-quarters of it are under a liquid - that is, all but the top row of pixels.

Pumps are required to draw liquids into Pipes to be transported.
__FORCETOC__

Pumps can be place on top of any Pipe. It will then draw any liquid touching the Pump and feed it into that Pipe.

Every pixel of the Pump can take in liquid, so if fully submerged, it will deliver 16 pixels of liquid to the Pipe per tick.

Pumps can take in any liquid other than Lava, which is too hot to be transported.

Tips
Pumps are non-solid to all pixels meaning that any non-liquid material within them will stop liquids from being transported.

Every Pump connected to a contiguous network of Pipes will deliver its liquid to every Liquid Vent on that network.

Pumps will feed any liquid into Pipes, so the Pipe can carry multiple different liquids at once. These will be evenly distributed to all connected Liquid Vents.

Pipes are used to move liquids around your factory.
__FORCETOC__

Mechanics
Pipes require (at least one) Pump to take liquid in, and (at least one) Liquid Vent to allow liquid out.

Pipes themselves are on a completely separate layer and can be placed in the same square as any other block. They can pass through any material, including Indestructible terain.

The only exception is that they may not pass through Artifact rooms.

Lava is too hot to be carried in pipes. All other liquids can be carried.

Pipes can only be removed by selecting the Pipe tool, and right-clicking on the Pipe you want to remove.

Tips
Pipes cannot cross; if they do, the two networks are joined, and any Pump on either pipe will feed any Liquid Vent on either pipe.

Pipes can be connected to multiple Pumps and Liquid Vents at a time and the inputs and outputs will be shared throughout. If more than one type of liquid is pumped in the pipe system, it will distribute them evenly across all outputs. Use separate systems for each liquid instead, or be prepared to filter your liquids at each vent!

Pipes that run behind terrain or blocks are not visible except when the Pipe tool is selected.

Now you have your Wet Seeds, you need to drop them onto Planter Boxes. The seeds need to touch the planters, so there's no direct benefit to dropping a huge pile of them on a single planter. If possible, you want to spread them out across multiple planters, to grow as many flowers as possible.

Plants grow a length of Vine stalk, end eventually form an Amethelis Flower on top. At this point, the plant growth stops.

It's worth noting at this point that under some circumstances, Wet Seed landing on a growing plant can produce new growth, causing them to grow further and further into the sky. If you don't want to be chasing flowers all over the world, box your planters in - plants won't grow through buildings so you can control how far they grow this way.

The Vacuum has two separate tanks, so it can hold (up to) two different materials at once. Upgrades will increase the capacity of those tanks.
It can destroy some terrain that is impervious to smaller digging tools (such as Crackstone).

Mechanics
The Rocket Launcher fires a missile that travels slowly for a short distance before accelerating quickly. When the missile collides with a solid surface it explodes in a wide, roughly circular area of damage.
The Vacuum can pick up material, and deposit it elsewhere. It is acquired through Research (Tier 3, 2000 Gold).

Due to it's high capacity, this can be viewed as an upgrade to the Grabber.

Mechanics
The Vacuum has two separate tanks, so it can hold (up to) two different materials at once. Upgrades will increase the capacity of those tanks.

Upgrades
Upgrades are purchased with Fluxite.

|}

Tips
The Gun is a ranged excavation tool.

__FORCETOC__

Overview
The Gun is acquired through Research (Tier 3, 1500 Gold).

It fires a bullet that excavates a small area when it hits something solid and destroyable. This allows you to dig material from a distance.

Tips
