[[Burnt Residue]] is created by igniting [[Residue]]. This can be done manually with a [[Flamethrower]] or the napalm upgrade of the [[Rocket Launcher]], or it can be automated by running [[Residue]] over [[Lava]] trapped in [[Filter]]s.

A [[Residue]] only has a 25% chance of turning into [[Burnt Residue]] and may instead just burn and be destroyed with no output.

[[Burnt Residue]] can be dropped through a [[Kinetic Press]] to produce [[Gold]] and [[Spore]]s. It must be dropped from a height of at least 25 blocks to pass through the press and produce its outputs which will fall out of the bottom. 1 [[Burnt Residue]] will always output 1 [[Gold]] and 1 [[Spore]].
