There are 4 seasons in Nova Roma, affecting the consumption of 
Charcoal (or 
Wood) for housing heating and influencing the growth and harvest of farms and fruits.
- Summer allows most food and produce to grow, and reduces heating needs.
- Fall is when farms such as
Wheat are ready to be harvested. - Winter increases demand for heating, and food not stored by winter's end is lost
- Spring is when farms start growing after being planted
