Component:ml-9-mine-launcher
In Game Description
Minefields serve as an excellent force multiplier, something the Protectorate is in desperate need of. The ML-9 is capable of launching 5 mines in rapid succession before it needs to be reloaded[1]. When used alone or in pairs it can rapidly create a dense minefield which will delay the advance of any enemy warships.

Notes
Lore
Meadows turns her head to the left, her Tanto stabilizing into a orbit around the object. Two prongs reach out from the sides of it, searching, as if waiting for something to disturb its rest. Slowly, her Tanto begins to yaw towards the object, getting a closer look at the markings across the fuselage.
"Messer-1, Wizard. Anything to share, Meadows?"
Meadows keys her comms, her eyes still glued to the object. "Yeah, that's definitely a naval mine. Looks like one of the models we used back in Deshima before STABLE kicked our ass about it. No obvious markings, just some warning text and indicators of components." The engines of her Tanto makes a whine as she pulls away from the object, testing its tracking. It doesn't move. "Doesn't seem to trigger on spacecraft but I', seeing some high agility thruster rigs on the fuselage. It'd probably catch up to a Sprinter easily."
She flies forward, rounding an asteroid and bathing herself in its shadow. Nightvision automatically engages on her helmet, outlining objects on the backside of the asteroid. Meadows' brows jump in surpris as she brings the throttle down, gliding through space as she counts each mine pinned to the rock's surface like parasites waiting for a new host. "Holy Nyx, they're everywhere," she quips, leaning forward to find more directly above her, "this route is a no-fly-zone, Wizard. Protectorate doesn't want anybody coming down this way."
"STABLE won't like this," Wizard sighs, sounding more like a garbled growl over the radio.
Meadows leans back into her seat, whipping her Tanto around to return to the ship. "I don't think STABLE will ever find out."
