Component:small-workshop
In Game Description
Provides a workspace for engineers to fabricate temporary parts and shoring to increase damage control team working speed.
Gameplay usage
Like the Damage Control Complex, the DCC simply buffs the existing repair teams, rather than adding teams and restores of it's own. it is thus more suited to larger ships with many DC teams, where +30% to the existing DC would be more beneficial than two additional teams and a restore of a Small DC

Lore
Usually has some kind of rock music playing off of some crewman's wristcomp, who is then promptly chewed out by the DCA for annoying the entire deck. In combat, workshops become a nightmare pit of sweaty engineers and damage controlmen frantically trying to modify parts for on-the-fly repairs to be ran up to other decks.
These work hand-in-hand with the DCC and there's usually a direct line of communication between the two.
