Lore
More of a glorified garage than a hangar but I guess you could call anything storing your collection of deathmachines a hangar these days. Even the AWO calls their motorpools holding NAV-tanks as "hangars".
There's armchair engineers scattered all over the StellarNet who will destroy their keyboards arguing why military spacecraft should be equipped with landing feet and that the humble wheel is the greatest engineering blunder ever made. These are the same people who have not had to move an entire Tanto across a deck, and these huge hangars are why we have wheels for gearing in the first place. An unladen Tanto weighs nearly 21,500 kilos and you want that to be moved around on gripping feet across nonskid decking?
Need to figure out why people hate wheels so much. I'll write about it later.

- ↑ "Tiling" Compartments, when placed in compartments larger than the listed component size, scale their capacity by the x, y, and z of the compartment they are mounted to. Not all stats scale with tiling.
