Lore
The 'Hangup' jammer has garnered a vicious reputation among pirate circles, its activation often being followed up by the sudden appearance of heavily-armed military flotillas burning in to sweep up sentries while they jam their homebase.
Mostly operates on a continuous waveform pattern, the subtle variety. If they're bored, the operators might swap the sound over to thrash metal played at full blast, usually when all the bad guys are asleep. It's fun, just don't let the EWO catch you or you'll get a nice visit to the mast.
