TF Hemlock

An ambush fleet featuring a heavy cruiser whose primary armament is long range cruise missiles designed to provide fire support at long range and from behind cover. It also comes equipped with a short range beam turret as a secondary armament after emptying its missile tubes. The cruiser lacks the defenses of direct combat assets, and must strive to remain undetected. Launch Fylgja and Naseruta missiles in pairs to probe defenses, knock out sensor assets which could find you, and remove lighter assets from the opposition force. Ether and Miasma missiles are slower, but function as far heavier hitters for larger opponents. The Psyches are reserved for dealing finishing blows against damaged targets, best used conservatively. Success with Hemlock hinges on choosing the right tool for the job.

Missile Equipment

Fylgja - Used in conjunction with Naseruta as 'poking' and general use. Test PD nets, fire on light ships and naturals. Use first. Size 5 Warhead for extra range against jamming sources, has 2km TTGI.

Naseruta - Used in conjunction with Fylgja as 'poking' and general use. Test PD nets, fire on light ships and naturals. Use first. Size 6 Warhead for extra damage, has 2km TTGI.

Psyche - Used against heavier ships, primarily Liners. To be fired down the bow. Mean to heavily cripple or kill. Size 6 HEKP, use last and or only against Liners, poor against CCs without doing trick shots. Takes advantage of TTGI with 2km Fixed Radar seeker.

Delusion - Used against heavier targets in a salvo of other missiles, Should be behind the Rupture missile if salvo'd with HEKP. Use last out side in salvos against bigger targets like CCs or LNs.

Ether - Used in conjuction with Miasma or on its own, general use missile. Fire on heavier targets, but also works effectively against light ones too. Use second against light targets if Fylgja and Naseruta expended, use in salvos with Delusion and Rupture against heavier targets, or alone against isolated non-CC heavy targets.

Miasma - Used in conjuction with Ether or on its own, general use missile. Fire on heavier targets, but also works effectively against light ones too. Use second against light targets if Fylgja and Naseruta expended, use in salvos with Delusion and Rupture against heavier targets, or alone against isolated non-CC heavy targets.

Rupture - Used exclusively against CCs and Liners (including CLN/CVLNs) bow or stern on. Mix with Delusion.
