In Game Description
Reactor boosters optimize the efficiency of a warship’s fusion reactors, providing an increase to total power generated but also increasing the ship's radar signature size.
Gameplay usage
The Plant Control Center provides more power bonus% per point, and doesn't have a signature malus. This module thus should only be used when Compartments are tight, the ship -only- needs a small excess, or needs every last bit of power (such as a spyglass Sprinter)

[OSKA]: I need her warship's reactor data from the Helio-5 Device she installed. It's showing a positive gain on output but also setting the power frequency to a state that's more susceptible to radar.
[CMD]: The Root is expecting the same device to be installed at Black Sands. Should I be concerned?
[OSKA]: Well, no, but I don't think you're going to hide something that big to begin with. Er, with respect, Admiral. This is more of a problem for lighter ships, tugs and things.
[CMD]: I understand. I'll send her a message but I suspect she simply won't care.
