Local Forces gone rogue. Armed with a mortar for indirect fire support. - In game description

Unit Stats

RA Mortar Teams are three-man indirect fire support squads armed with the Kingpost M8 medium mortar. While fragile and easily killed, they are a significant threat to light-armored infantry due to their long-range AoE suppression and damage.

Mortar shells can hit multiple units at once, cause morale damage, and suppress entire squads, even behind cover. Their position is usually behind the frontlines, making them harder to engage early unless flanked or spotted by recon.

3 10 40 40 100 50 70 9 0 0 SIPV Standard Protective Vest , Kingpost M8 150 10 Minimum, 100 Maximum

Note - The Mortar Team have the BR3A3 Kr-BaR "Crowbar" in their inventory but not their loot column. This equipment will not drop on the units death.

Tactical Note

Mortar teams are priority targets for stealth squads or long-range fire. Their ability to suppress multiple squads at once can delay your assault and cause cascading morale issues if not dealt with quickly.
