Though she is not a warrior and cannot be deployed in tactical battles, Lieutenant Hayflick is arguably the most valuable member of the entire expedition. Supremely competent despite her youth, she is the intelligence officer of the [[TCRN Impetus]], and knows more about the Wayback and all its residents than they do themselves. She provides all the tutorials in the game, navigates your relationships with the various factions of the system, and generally provides all the information you need to succeed in your mission. She is a true believer in the aims of the [[Terran Congressional Republic]], though, as you will discover progressing through the game, coldly unsentimental in the pursuit of those aims. How much she truly knows about the mission to the [[Wayback System]], in particular whatever aspects of it were "Redacted," remains to be seen at this point of Early Access.
