Help:To-do

Here is a set of to-do items if you are a new (or veteran!) contributor looking for something that needs addressing. Be sure to ask questions in the #wiki-main-en channel on Discord if you have questions.

Incomplete	Page for tips for new players	tips, trivia, and general strategy ideas, expand on current pages already existing. For example, Temple can have a section added to it suggesting good heroes to start with (ex. Zenith with mass Heavenly Blades on upgraded Austringers, Kestrel with a huge stack of crossbowmen on game start, etc). Individual spell pages can have text added suggesting optimal ways to make the best use out of them, pages like Hero Basics can be expanded with more info on different attributes and what contributes to them etc.

incomplete	Fix the Masterful replacement hack in Template:MediumIconDisplay	Because there are no Masterful versions of icons or articles, the Masterful versions of spells in the Template:HeroInfoBox has to have "Masterful " manually replaced from the filename. This should be addressed by uploading the full gamut of spell icons, including masterful variants (which are identical in the game files at the moment but are kept separate, which seems to hint that they will be updated in a future art pass). Once that is done, the hack in MediumIconDisplay should be ripped out.
incomplete	Rename image files to match in-game names	Just about every image got renamed to something user-friendly, which for an element that isn't user-facing is questionable. Now that data has been programmatically imported, it is actively detrimental, as all the coded icon names can't be used due to the renaming. Mass-rename files, either by hand or via an automated import process.
incomplete	Address heroes missing mottos being unable to render in an infobox	Seven campaign heroes do not have mottos defined, and this will make the hero infobox fail. Set up obelisk to create empty data for those heroes instead of writing nothing.
