This template inserts a new wiki translation entry into a page, with the following parameters:

  • subtype - the context in which the term is used, such as "hero_infobox". Use "common" if this term shows up on multiple pages.
  • id - the ID used to look up this translation term. It will automatically have "wiki_" prepended to it.
  • lang - the lowercase Language code ("en" for English, "pl" for Polish, "pt-br" for Brazilian Portuguese, etc)
  • term - the English translation of the term; this will be deleted and replaced by hand.

{{subst:WikiTranslationEntry|subtype=hero_infobox|id=hero_class|term=Hero Class|lang=pl}}

This will be injected into the associated page as the following

{{TranslationDef
| type = wiki
| subtype = hero_infobox
| target_id = wiki_hero_class
| language = pl
| name = X-Hero Class-X
}}

You are of course free to just use that result, but you will need to follow all the appropriate rules which this template handles for you if you do.
