The following locations can be found anywhere on the map:

  • Treasure Chests allow choosing between one of three Common rarity items to add to the inventory. There is a 1/80 chance items will be Golden and a 1/500 chance the items will be Diamond. More common in the Starting Area biome. Items will never be Gold or Diamond from Treasure Chests in Kingmaker.
  • Bargaining Tents have a selection of 2 Rare rarity items that can be bought for 5 Gold. Can choose to haggle, which has a 75% chance to change the price to 4 and a 25% chance to change the price to 7. Cannot appear on the Starting Island.
  • Blade Oils allow choosing between giving the weapon 1 Attack, Armor or Speed. Refreshes if the weapon is changed. Each oil can only be applied once per weapon.
  • Campfires can be used at night to wait until the next day and restore 10 Health.
  • Lookout Towers reveal the map in a 13 tile radius around them.
  • Woodcutters can combine two items into a random item of Heroic rarity.
  • Scrying Pools reveal a new rare location on the map.
  • Waypoints allow traveling to them instantly at any point by hovering over them in map mode and pressing Space. They are always visible when the player is near.
  • Horse Carriages allow traveling to one of three biomes and reveal all tiles along the way.

The following locations can be found anywhere on the map but are very rare:

  • Beehive: gives a Honeycomb that can be combined with food items at a Cauldron but is protected by Honey Bee enemies.
  • Crone: choose between two cursed items.
