A Hero's Grave

The Woodland map in is one of the main playable map types and serves as a large, procedurally generated overworld where your entire run takes place.
It’s a continuous, tile-based map that you explore over time during a run.
There are four total biomes in the woodlands with different enemies and encounters (see below). The following locations can be found anywhere on the map:






Encounter Description Notes
Treasure Chests Allows choosing between one of three Common rarity items to add to the inventory 1/80 chance items will be Golden. 1/500 chance the items will be Diamond.
More common in the Starting Forest biome.
Blade Oils allow choosing between giving the weapon 1 Attack, 1 Armor or 1 Speed Each oil can only be applied once per weapon.
Can have multiple oils on the same weapon.
Campfire Can be used at night to wait until the next day and restore 10 Health.
Crystal Ball Allow choosing between one of three locations on the map to be revealed. They are always visible when the player is near.
