| strat = Go shopping for Blackbriar items.
Throw down a pair of s** and take up the . On the way, have the Golem put his talent towards and .

Note that, even though Blackbriar Gauntlet is Rare, and cannot be merged by the Golem, it is a frequent find in shops. Having two is so important to this challenge you may as well think of them as a requirement.

This strategy was written when the effect of the Blade was, "temporarily gains attack equal to your thorns", so it may have become significantly more difficult after a game feature patch. If thorns prove too hard to gain early in a battle, try to leverage the stat-doubling effect of Elderwood Mask.

Woodland challenges may also be completed in Kingmaker, a game format allowing two more inventory slots in its fourth week. Thorn items are divided evenly between the Red and Blue item bundles, whereas the Elderwood combo is in the Yellow bundle.
