Consul Myerte Tyabana in a Throne Room

Description

Arriving on Saiadha with a handful of functioning Lords and a crypt of Lords' souls, Consul Tyabana aims to leave behind the traumas of Auriga on this new world. Escaping Auriga before it became an icy tomb, the Last Lords set a destination across the stars for Saiadha—a world believed to be endless sun-scorched deserts laden with Dust. Upon arrival, Saiadha's brutal oceans were a rude awakening for the knights, who still clung to the tatters of their chivalrous code. Most are only engrams awaiting their great suits of armor, but Consul Tyabana hopes not just for reanimation, but renaissance.

Faction Mechanics

  • Knightly Husks: Last Lords buyout population using Dust instead of growing it with food. Disables Food. Population consumes Dust
  • Every Last Drop: Tiles producing Dust produce +1 Dust
  • Dust Healing: Disables passive healing for Units. Can instantly heal units using Dust
  • Sacrifice for the Realm: Sacrifice non-major Population for a Dust bonus. Every 2 Population sacrificed creates a Last Lord

The Last Lord Units before Specialization

Due to their inability for passive healing, Last Lords have to rely on different sources to regain health. Their Units have the ability to heal on the World Map within owned Territory using Dust. They can also heal by damaging and killing enemy Units. Fighting weaker Armies may often be the most effective way to heal Units. They lack any Cavalry units and have to rely on Minor Faction Units for them. The Palanquin of the Profane can be upgrade into powerful AoE Ranged Unit and the flying Dust Lord causes Terror, weakening the Enemy.
