Description

To speed up production, you can call out "All Hands on Deck" in a building. It will then produce more output at a cost of higher workforce requirement. For processing buildings, this also increases the amount of needed input resources. It is an easy way of temporarily cranking up your production, but having more buildings is more efficient in the long run.

When "All Hands on Deck" is called on Warehouses and resource distributing buildings like the Galley, their Fetcher will run more often and thus fill their storage faster. Be aware this may lead to high Drain on the provider. Also, take care not to starve other buildings that may require resources from the same provider.

Tips & Strategies

  • Avoid All Hands on Deck in the early game when your population is low, but be generous with it later!
  • On Deposit Buildings, this is a good way to increase the output without having to build a long connection to another Deposit.
  • A production with incoming yellow delivery lines will result in at least 100% base productivity. (All Hands on Deck can make up for increased transport distances this way.)
