Overview
Resource Deposits contain a single type of resource. Their harvesting building can be built once a Pirate Camp is in range and the harvester has been unlocked by gaining enough compass progression.
Some Resources have upgrades to increase the Deposit size in the Compass, specifically for
Stone,
Fibre,
Guano,
Iron Ore,
Lead Ore and
Pearl.
Once a Deposit depletes, the building on it can only operate at 50% efficiency. This modifier is multiplicative with all other production modifiers. (A Building with All Hands on Deck would operate at 75% efficiency.)
The
Golden Palace, unlocked by gaining 20
Wealth progression, makes all resource deposits infinite.
Tips & Strategies
- If you remember the
Golden Palace and build it soon after unlocking, no deposit will ever run out. - All deposit upgrades are useless after the
Golden Palace. Spend the points on Production Upgrades instead.
