The Home Spaceship is the starting location. Peeps emerge to work if there are available homes or work inside to produce rudimentary supplies.
Population
The Home Spaceship houses new settlements' initial population of 30 Peeps. 3 emerge upon landing, and more will come out to work only once sufficient Accommodation Buildings have been built such that they would not be homeless.
Once the first 15 Huts have been built to house the 30 Peeps, a School is needed to grow the settlement further.
If there is still active work in the Home Spaceship, some Peeps may continue to work there even after the settlement is large and thriving.
Production
The Home Spaceship can produce Water and Potatoes, 3 per minute, indefinitely. If there are raw resources nearby, its workers can go out to collect raw resources so it can also produce the following:
- Wood, 10 per minute from tree trunks.
- Iron, 10 per minute from raw iron ore.
- Stone, 10 per minute from raw stone.
If supplied with Wood and Iron, it can also produce Tools. Since the Home Spaceship generates no Pollution, it can be a meaningful alternative to the heavily-polluting Toolsmith.
No by-products
The Home Spaceship does not produce By-products. Therefore, if by-products from producing Wood, Iron, and Tools are needed (Wood Waste, Soot, and Slag, respectively) in the settlement, then it may be necessary to deactivate the work in the Home Spaceship so all raw resources go through the construction buildings (Woodcutter, Ore Smelter, and Toolsmith, respectively).
